Our Newest Coach, Kyla, Guiding Coloradoans Through State’s Health Insurance Marketplace

Connect for Health Colorado has an ambitious goal to increase access, affordability, and choice for individuals and small employers purchasing health insurance in Colorado.

Connect for Health Colorado logoRecognizing that an engaging customer experience is critical to achieving this goal, the organization was actively looking for a technology solution that could help deliver such an experience.

Connect for Health Colorado was progressive when the organization chose to deploy an intelligent virtual assistant as part of the marketplace in late 2014 as a way to improve the experience people have on the site.

Since the implementation, the custom-made intelligent assistant, Kyla has been helping people navigate the site in fewer steps and has been key to reducing customers’ frustrations during this most recent enrollment period.

Kyla appears on the exchange homepage (connectforhealthco.com) and at key points throughout the site to help people make decisions and provide them with information that includes applying for financial assistance and understanding insurance terms. She appears on both the English- and Spanish-language sites.

Connect for Health Colorado is the second state health insurance marketplace to choose our intelligent assistants to guide consumers through the challenging process of comparing plans and shopping for quality, affordable health care coverage. Access Health CT in Connecticut was the first state-based health exchange to launch their intelligent assistant, Tina, in November 2014 in preparation for the 2015 open enrollment cycle.
