Connect for Health Colorado, which operates the state's health insurance
exchange, has begun using a virtual assistant developed by Colorado Springs-based
CodeBaby Corp. to help consumers navigate its website and purchase
health care coverage.
The assistant, named Kyla, appears on the exchange homepage
(connectforhealthco.com) and at key points on the site to help consumers make
decisions and provide them with information that includes applying for financial
assistance and understanding insurance terms. She appears on both the
exchange's English- and Spanish-language sites.
Access Health CT in Connecticut became the first state exchange to launch a
CodeBaby virtual assistant in November.
