(February 6, 2013) -  CodeBaby, a leading provider of Online Customer Experience solutions, today announced the promotion of Paul Smith to the position of Vice President of Strategic Services.

Mr. Smith has more than 27 years of experience in the information technology industry. In his new role with CodeBaby, Paul will lead all strategic relationships across each customer account. Mr. Smith’s new responsibility involves overseeing all client CIVA implementations as well as leading the account management and services teams.

“During his time working with CodeBaby, Paul has demonstrated a true ability to grow our brand,” said CodeBaby CEO Dennis McGuire. “We are very pleased to promote Paul from Business Development Director to VP of Strategic Services where he will continue to leverage his years of experience to accelerate product implementations for our clients.”

Prior to joining CodeBaby, Mr. Smith served in a number of senior executive positions, including Vice President of Sales at Upsync, creator of mobile presentation and sales tool software, Founder and President of BlueStreak Connect, developer of cloud-based public safety incident management software, and Vice President of Sales for Ziff-Davis Education, now Skillsoft provider of learning and development programs and LMS technology solutions.

Mr. Smith is a graduate of Fordham University where he earned a BA in Urban Studies and Computer Science. While at the university he was a two-year captain of the men’s varsity basketball team.
